Messing With My Stash
The crafting bug bit me yesterday and I headed into the craft room to play with some fleece. I measured, snipped, and tied knots until I had blisters on my thumb, but it was worth it. I now have a stack of blankets for my favorite non-profit group, Layers of Love. My goal is to send my dear friend, Patty, 40 blankets before my 40th birthday. If you want to help out, let me know! My poor fingers can only take so much!
Once I was done with the blankets, I started looking at all my yarn and realized very quickly I have no idea what all is in my stash. It’s time to catalogue it on Ravelry. I love lists like nobody’s business, and organizing my stash and needles is going to take a little time. I’M SO EXCITED!!! At one time, I did have my needles all catalogued, but I’ve added new sets and lost a couple of pairs to the teeth of Ebony. That dog is trouble on four furry feet.
It’s time to get to work organizing this hurricane of fiber!

For months I was whining that I didn’t have stash. Now I have enough that it needs to be organized, too. So far, I have a tote (albeit empty) that needs filling.

Seeing a stash like yours makes me feel better… I’m not alone in my addiction. I may have even shed a tear.
